Actor Tanuj Virwani, who plays ‘Major Bhau in’ Cartel, gives an insight into what it feels like to portray a gangster on screen. According to the actor, apart from all the power, influence and money, one can still not understand the magnitude of how scary the dark world can be.
He says: “When I shop, I allow myself to be vulnerable and really immerse myself when I step into the character’s shoes. I realized that it is not at all easy to be a gangster, you are constantly on the edge, worried about getting caught or about who should turn your back on you next. ”
The 34-year-old actor, known for web shows like ‘Code M’ and ‘Inside Edge’, further shares the nuances of being a part of the crime world.
Tanuj adds: “Most importantly, your family is constantly under the radar, whether or not they are involved. I can not imagine living in a world where I can hardly trust anyone. Behind all the power there is a lot of fear. And this show brings all these issues to the screen. ”
‘Cartel’ will be streamed on August 20 on MX Player’s MX Gold and ALTBalaji.
