Samsung sets a pre-ordered record with Galaxy Z Fold3, Flip3 in India

New Delhi, August 25 (IANS) Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 were 2.7 times higher in India compared to the Galaxy Note20 series launched last year, industry sources revealed on Wednesday.

Samsung has received a huge response to its new foldable smartphones in India, where the company has secured the best pre-orders ever for any Galaxy flagship launched in India, sources told IANS.

Most pre-orders come from young consumers, the sources added.

Pre-orders for the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G smartphones opened in India on Tuesday.

Consumers looking to purchase Samsung’s third-generation category-defining foldable devices can log on to Samsung.com or visit leading stores to pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G are Samsung’s most powerful and premium smartphones as well as more durable. The devices are built to withstand IPX8 water resistance.

For the first time, Samsung announced major deals on the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 during the pre-order phase.

Samsung has signed Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt to become the face of the Galaxy Z series.

Fold3 carries a starting price of Rs 1,49,999, while Flip3 starts at Rs 84,999.

Consumers who pre-order Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G are entitled to either an upgrade voucher of up to Rs 7,000 or HDFC Bank cash back up to Rs 7,000 using credit and debit cards, with the starting price of Galaxy Z Fold3 take 5G for Rs 1,42,999 and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G for Rs 77,999.

In addition to this, consumers will be entitled to free 1 year Samsung Care plus protection against accidental and liquid damage to the value of Rs 7,999 on pre-order of Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Rs 4,799 on pre-order of Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

Consumers can pre-order their Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G at Samsung.com and across leading retail stores from Tuesday to September 9th, and sales begin from September 10th.
