Richard Dreyfuss becomes hardcore hitman in a new trailer for crime history

“Crime Story” comes to us with permission from the author / director Adam Lipsius – the same Adam Lipsius who wrote and directed the Asylum disaster film “Oceans Rising.” This marks one of just a handful of times that the double threat has crashed a feature film and appears to be his gloomiest outing yet.

Along on the tour is Cress Williams, also known as Arrowverse’s Black Lightning, who plays a frustrated man who seems very alone in his fully justified fear of Richard Dreyfuss’s anger. Right at the top of the trailer you will also notice fellow “Black Lightning” alum Derek Russo getting an ulna full of trunk door thanks to Ben Meyer’s anger. Beginner David Steven Perez seems to be one of the boring people who broke into the Dreyfuss household and started this whole mess. You really stepped into it this time, David.

“Crime Story” is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on the same day as its digital / on-demand debut on August 13. It’s far away, but we’ll get there. Baby step, Bob.
