Mumbai, June 24 (IANS) Actress Pranutan, who debuted in Bollywood in 2019 with “Notebook”, is awaiting the release of her next film “Helmet” opposite Aparshakti Khurana. While theaters are still not functional, OTT platforms have been required to provide entertainment. The young actress is in awe of the content generated on the digital platforms.
“I think the medium does not matter, and the fact that it only matters is to hone your skills as an actor. I do not think we should get too caught up in our comfort zones. The kind of response that the audience gives to OTT is fantastic, ”Pranutan tells IANS.
Granddaughter of the late legendary Nutan and daughter of actress Mohnish Bahl, the budding actress says it finds many shows exciting and inspiring.
“It’s inspiring to see such stories and such actors. Throughout ‘The Family Man’ I could not get my eyes off. My opinion of OTT is that they create great content. I’m an absolute fan of so many shows – ‘The Family Man 1 and 2’, ‘Paatal Lok’, ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ – many of them, ”she says.
The actor is featured in the music video of Palak Muchhal’s new song “Lag raha hai dil deewana”, which was launched on Wednesday. The track aims to bring audiences back to their college days, the actress says.
