Nikita Dutta, last seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan in ‘The Big Bull’, will be seen running a 10k ‘virtual marathon’.
Actress Nikita Dutta, who rose to fame with ‘Kabir Singh’ and was last seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan in ‘The Big Bull’, will be seen running a 10k ‘virtual marathon’.
Nikita talks about it and says: “I run such a long distance after January 2020. Back in January I remember that when I had to run the Mumbai Marathon, I ended up hurting my leg because I trained for ‘Rocket Gang’ at same time so I could not run and then of course lockdown happened. ”
Along with her acting skills, Nikita is also a fitness freak, and her social media account is a perfect example of how fit and athletic the actress is. She keeps sharing her workouts, yoga videos and photos.
She has also been actively participating in marathons for years now. Nikita, who recently recovered from Covid, has been preparing for the marathon and is excited to be a part of it, especially as it will be her first after Covid.
Nikita adds: “After locking during shooting, I also tested positive. So write that I’m trying to recover and come back. I still feel like I’m not back to what I was before 2020, where I could easily run 21K. ”
The 27-year-old actress continues: “So this time I challenge myself to what my current state is, and I also thought it was a great way to celebrate Independence Day. So I thought I’d sign up for this marathon to start the day on a fabulous note. Crossing fingers for tomorrow, because honestly I’m a little nervous and hoping I can handle it. ”
She will next be seen on screen opposite Aditya Seal in ‘Rocket Gang’, which is a dance horror comedy.
