Now travelers from India can fly to Turkey, one of the most beloved tourist destinations. However, tourists must follow a strict 14-day COVID quarantine rule upon arrival. In addition, travelers must undergo an RT-PCR test on the fourteenth day and may leave the quarantine facility once they have tested negative. Go, pack your bags! If you are planning to travel to Russia, the good news is that it is now open to travelers from India. You can apply for a tourist visa that is valid for up to 30 days for single entry or double entry. Remember that tourists traveling into the country must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test report issued no more than 72 hours before arrival. Moscow and Skt. Petersburg is a must-visit in Russia. As the Covid cases in Russia were recently on the rise, it is only recommended to book your tickets if the situation is under control. Indians can now travel to Egypt, according to one report. There are currently restrictions on tourists arriving in the coastal provinces of the Red Sea, South Sinai and Matrouh, to travel to other provinces in Egypt. What are the COVID requirements? Well, health checks are done on arrival in Egypt and all passengers have to fill out a health declaration. According to the reports, all passengers must present a negative RT-PCR test, not older than 72 hours from 15 August onwards.

If you are planning a trip to Serbia, be aware that passengers must pass a negative RT-PCR test taken up to 48 hours before departure. Not applicable for passengers under 12 years. Some of the attractions in Serbia include the church of St. Sava, House on the Drina, Studenica Monastery, Subotica City Hall and Kalemegdan among others. There are only limited flights operated by Lufthansa and KLM Royal Dutch from Mumbai to Belgrade.

For Iceland, a valid vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test on arrival are mandatory for all tourists according to the reports. Upon arrival, a COVID-19 screening test is performed at the border, but these people are exempt from quarantine if the test comes out negative. However, you must be fully vaccinated with the EU approved vaccinations including Covishield by AstraZeneca. According to a report in News18, a company called Pure Luxe of KFT is delivering private charters and land packages to the country as India does not have an Air Bubble pact with the country.

According to one News report, any Indian citizen who is destined for and has a valid visa to CIS countries (except Russia) is entitled to travel to Uzbekistan. However, travelers must present a negative PCR test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to arrival in the country. Quarantine or self-isolation for 14 days is mandatory.

Any Indian citizen destined for any country in Africa who has a valid visa can travel to Rwanda. As for the COVID-related requirements, all passengers arriving in Rwanda must complete the passenger location form and upload their negative COVID-19 test certificate before arrival. Upon arrival, each traveler must go to a hotel designated by the government for another COVID-19 test. Find the passenger placement form and list of designated transit hotels at www.rbc.gov.rw.
