New Delhi, August 23 (IANS) Singer Arrmaan Malik recently recorded his first song for an Akshay Kumar movie titled ‘Tum Aaogey’.
Malik talks about the song from the movie ‘Bell Bottom’ and says that he experienced a different feeling while recording the song.
“‘Tum Aaogey’ is an emotional song with a patriotic theme. In a way, it’s different from the rest of my discography. I do not think I have sung a song like this before, which makes it even more special. During the recording, I experienced an abundance of emotions as I placed myself in the shoes of others to mimic what they must feel through my voice. It has been an experience that I will hold on to forever, ”he says.
Armaan also talks about making the first song for Akshay Kumar and singing with Amaal Malik.
“This is the first song I’ve ever made for an Akshay Kumar movie. I was thrilled when Amaal Malik told me he wanted to board me for this number. Collaborating with Amaal and Rashmi Virag has always been a great experience considering our hit track record along with songs like ‘Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon’, ‘Bol Do Na Zara’, ‘Tere Mere’ and many more, “says he.
“I am very confident that ‘Tum Aaogey’ would follow suit and be just as successful. It is a security given the beautiful lyrics and emotions that bind this song, ”reveals Armaan.
Armaan has sung for films such as ‘Mastizaade’, ‘Sanam Re’ and others.
“I recorded this number during the pandemic in my home studio. I also recorded some bits in a hotel room when I was traveling. It’s crazy how a song comes together in different places. The key to making this song fit was to feel every word I sang, ”he says.
“This particular rendition is my truest song, and although it has my signature style, I have managed to incorporate a few fresh bends and vocal runs,” he concludes.
